Back To School Series: Stay Organized!

Staying organized is an essential thing for back to school. Admit it, it sucks to loose your homework or taking forever to find you school work if you are unorganized. Being organized is fairly easy, but staying that way is not. But with time staying organized will become a habit, and believe me, it would make life a lot easier for you! Keep reading for tips on how to stay organized.

Tip #1:  As I said in my School Supplies Haul/Tips Post, color code your supplies. For example, your math binder/notebook/folder could be red, your science binder/notebook/folder could be blue, etc. Also, don't forget to label them! This way it will be much easier to know what supplies you need for you next class and where to save your work.

Post-It Label Roll - Target $4.49

Tip #2: Keep you supplies organized in your book bag and locker/cubbie. For example, you might want to keep all of your Math stuff together, all you Science stuff together, etc. Also, if you can, buy locker organizers to keep your locker even more organized if you have one. This way you will know where everything is and you will not have to spend forever looking for something.

Pencil Holder for Locker - Target $2.99

Tip #3: Buy a planner. They are very inexpensive and easy to use. A planner will be your best friend in school. There are so many events, tests, quizzes, and homework to keep up with that is might be impossible to remember it all. It will help you turn in your work on time, finish all of your homework, be ready for tests/quizzes, and not forget to attend important events like meetings, football games, etc.

Planner - You can find these at almost any store with office/school supplies!

Tip #4: I recommend you have a separate folder for important papers. This way you will not loose them and you will know that they should not be thrown away because they are important. I have tried this and it really works. Also, if you have a paper that you know you will have to keep for a very long time or is very important, put some page protectors so they can stay nice, neat, and wrinkle free!

Page Protectors - You can find these at almost any store with office/school supplies!

Tip #5: Put dates on all of your papers. This way you will know when exactly you took your notes or completed your work so when you need it in the future to study or because the teacher asks for it, it will be easier to find.

I hope you enjoyed these 5 tips on staying organized! Have a nice day! :)

Love,

Rita

Pure Ice Nail Polish Haul - Check it out!♥

These are my first nail polish from the Pure Ice brand. I bought them at the awesome Wal-Mart for $1.98 each :) I cannot talk about their quality in this haul because I have not tried them yet, but once I do I will make one! One thing I do know about these sparkly colors is that they are very very light colors(much lighter that what they actually look), but that would look lovely on top of other colors, and it would add an awesome sparkle!
Pure Ice- Nasty Girl

Pure Ice- Cheatin
Ok, so I have no idea where the names of these nail polishes came from. Of course I am not a "Nasty Girl" or "Cheatin" LOL but I do love the colors! I think the "Nasty Girl" nail polish will look lovely with my "Posh Pink" nail polish and the "Cheatin" nail polish will look lovely with my "Violet Metal" nail polish. See my "Posh Pink" and "Violet Metal" nail polishes from Rimmel London HERE.

Thanks for checking out my haul and have a GREAT DAY!

Check out the Review for these products here! <---------COMMING SOON!

The Very Basics of Painting Your Nails - A Tutorial

So your new at painting your nails? Want to know some good tips, tricks, and advise? Well then keep reading! Right now you might be thinking, Everyone know how to paint nails, it's super easy!
But guess what? There's some really important things you should know before painting your nails for the first time, and believe me, this could save you a lot of time and trouble!

What you will need:

♥ Base Coat
♥ Top Coat
♥ Nail Polish of Your Choice
♥ Q-Tips
♥ Nail Polish Remover

NOTE: These are called Tips/Steps because they are helpful advise and they go in order!

Tip/Step #1: Make sure your nails are COMPLETELY clean! You don't want to be painting your nails on top of dirt or old nail polish!

Tip/Step #2: ALWAYS use a base coat! You want to keep your nails nice and healthy!

My Base Coat: Sally Hansen Advanced Hard as Nails - $2.50

Tip/Step #3: Apply one and only one thin coat of nail polish! It doesn't matter if the polish is still too sheer, you can apply another coat once that one has dried. Why do you not want to apply on a thick coat? Because it takes forever to dry!

Finger Paints: Add & Abstract - $4.99

Tip/Step #4: Keep applying one thin coat after another until you get the color you want. You do not want to apply more that 3-4 coats per nail. Remember: wait until one coat is completely dry to apply the next coat.
1st Coat
2nd Coat

Tip/Step #5: Put on a top coat to protect your nails from chipping. Top coats usually dry very fast!
Top Coat: Sally Hansen Strengthening Top Coat - $2.50

Tip/Step #6: Now using a Q-Tip soaked with Nail Polish Remover, clean your cuticles.

Now your done! Enjoy your awesome new manicure/ pedicure! =D

Rimmel London Nail Polish Review

Today I have a review on the Rimmel London Long Lasting Finish Pro Nail Polish (I know the name is kind of long!) I recently bought my first two nail polishes from this brand, and I will like to review them for you!
Nail Polishes I bought: (with name of color below)

330 Posh Pink

350 Violet Metal
I bought these nail polishes not only because I love the colors, but because it claims to last up to 10 days, as you can see on the pictures. Now I was not really sure what "up to 10 days" meant at first. I was like: Does it mean that it can last less than 10 days? Like 8 days? or 5? or 2? Want to know how much they really last? Keep reading! Believe it or not, I bought these at Wal-Mart. They were pretty inexpensive too! I want to say they costed about $3.77 each when I bought them.
When these polishes dry they don't really have a "shine" to it, but that will easily be fixed with a shiny top coat!
Now I will describe the colors. The color of Posh Pink is almost exactly like the picture, just a little less bright. This hot pink is girly and chic, I love it! The Violet Metal color is also almost exactly like the picture, just a little brighter. Its a pretty dark color, but I like it! Now here's a warning, even though in the bottle this color looks like it has a bluish shine to it in the light, once you put it on, it doesn't really shine anymore. But again, the color is still lovely. To get the true color 2 coats will do!
Now I will answer the question that I know most of you have been asking yourself: How good is the quality of these products? And how long do they last? Well . . . here's your answers!
The drying process of these nail polishes are not the best, but the quality is! Its worth it waiting a few minutes for it to dry when its going to last a week! Yes! I said a week! My nails did not chip for one whole week!  I think that's pretty awesome. So if you plan on going nail polish shopping, don't forget getting some of these nail polishes, they really are great!

~Much love from Rita♥
